What every graduate needs to know about Commencement


Cap & Gown

You must have a Cap & Gown to Participate in the Ceremony.

There is no charge for Caps, Gowns, and Guest Tickets.

Regalia must be obtained through the Oak Hall ordering system between January 2nd and March 30th, 2019.

All orders will be shipped to the FCC Bookstore.

Students may pick-up their caps, gowns, and tickets at the Commencement Fair on Monday, May 6th from 9am - 6pm or during regular Business hours through May 21st. 

Once regalia ordering website has closed, students who need a cap and gown for Commencement should visit the Bookstore. Please note that size and selection are limited.



Graduates participating in Commencement can receive 4 free tickets when they pick-up their regalia from the Bookstore. General seating is on wooden bleachers in the gymnasium.

Due to limited seating capacity in the gymnasium, extra guest tickets are not available.

Overflow seating is available in the Visual & Performing arts center and is the most comfortable for older guests or those with special accommodation needs. Guest do not need a ticket to sit in this area but please note that seating in this area is on a first come, first served basis.

Seating for guest with limited mobility is available at the back of the gym. Seating in this area is by special ticket only.(Special seating tickets must be exchanged for General seating ticket).

All guest, including children, attending Commencement need a ticket. Seats are not Reserved. FCC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or destroyed tickets. 


Commencement Fair

Students are encouraged to attend the Commencement Fair on Monday, May 6th from 9:00am - 6:00pm in order to pick-up their regalia and tickets.

Regalia & tickets can also be picked-up during Bookstore regular business hours from May 6th through May 21st.

Not participating in the Ceremony? You may collect a free commemorative ticket and tassel at the Bookstore.
